Our family has loved the traditional trips to Canada every year to see grandma and grandpa Gibb. What treasured memories we all made being together as one big family on the farm. Doing the traditions of the first of July,first the fabulous parade, the program, the root beer competitions, tubing the river, jumping off bridges, eating MORE and then dancing, going for ice cream together,roman candle wars, flying gophers and fire works. Talking and laughing into the wee hours looking for dolls in every corner of the lodge thinking they might come alive!!! listening to the sounds of the lodge, babies crying, kids laughing, the kitchen boss feeding the multitudes... and on and on it goes.
What priceless traditions that started too far back we can't remember-
ALL BECAUSE TWO VERY BEAUTIFUL, CARING, LOVING, SPIRITUAL, GENEROUS, HARD WORKING, PEOPLE CAME TOGETHER AND FELL IN LOVE.. AND THIS IS THEIR LEGACY AND JOURNEY IN LIFE, THE KIDS THEY CREATED TOGETHER, THE GRAND KIDS AND GREATS ALL JOIN TOGETHER IN HONORING LAWRENCE AND HAZEL GIBB AND ALL
THEY HAVE TAUGHT US.
